Engineering background
BIT WORKSHOP CO., LTD. (비트공작소 주식회사) is a Seoul-based company founded and technically led by Moritz Angermann. The technical lead brings more than 20 years of industry experience across mobile banking, distributed systems, backend infrastructure, blockchain, artificial intelligence, compilers, and systems engineering.
Clients work directly with the senior engineer responsible for architecture and delivery—without an account-management layer. Additional specialists or language support are engaged when a project requires them and are disclosed as part of the engagement.
Start with a focused review or establish ongoing technical leadership.
A focused first engagement to clarify the problem, constraints, risks, architecture options, and recommended next steps.
Independent evaluation with written findings, risk ranking, and practical recommendations.
Design and delivery of a defined system or technical workstream with explicit scope and acceptance criteria.
Ongoing technical direction, architecture stewardship, team support, and stakeholder communication.
Production hardening, observability, incident follow-up, performance work, and controlled system evolution.
Engineering principles
Choose the simplest architecture that satisfies the real constraints, and make trade-offs explicit.
Support decisions with measurements, tests, threat models, prototypes, or clearly stated assumptions.
Consider deployability, observability, failure modes, incident response, and maintenance from the beginning.
Select tools for the system’s constraints and operating environment—not for fashion or résumé value.
