Where we add value

Senior engineering support for decisions and systems with real technical consequences.

Founders and startups

Technical direction before a full-time CTO is the right hire—or when an existing team needs an experienced second opinion.

Investors

Independent technical due diligence covering architecture, engineering execution, security assumptions, scalability, and delivery risk.

Agencies and delivery teams

Senior architecture and implementation capacity for projects that exceed routine application development.

Core capabilities

Advisory and implementation for organizations facing difficult technical decisions.

Legal, regulatory, tax, and securities analysis is outside the engineering scope and should be handled by qualified advisers.

Engineering background

Senior experience. Direct accountability.

BIT WORKSHOP CO., LTD. (비트공작소 주식회사) is a Seoul-based company founded and technically led by Moritz Angermann. The technical lead brings more than 20 years of industry experience across mobile banking, distributed systems, backend infrastructure, blockchain, artificial intelligence, compilers, and systems engineering.

Clients work directly with the senior engineer responsible for architecture and delivery—without an account-management layer. Additional specialists or language support are engaged when a project requires them and are disclosed as part of the engagement.

Ways to work together

Start with a focused review or establish ongoing technical leadership.

Paid discovery

A focused first engagement to clarify the problem, constraints, risks, architecture options, and recommended next steps.

Architecture review or due diligence

Independent evaluation with written findings, risk ranking, and practical recommendations.

Fixed-scope implementation

Design and delivery of a defined system or technical workstream with explicit scope and acceptance criteria.

Fractional leadership or retainer

Ongoing technical direction, architecture stewardship, team support, and stakeholder communication.

Operations and maintenance

Production hardening, observability, incident follow-up, performance work, and controlled system evolution.

Engineering principles

Less theatre. Better systems.

Clarity before complexity

Choose the simplest architecture that satisfies the real constraints, and make trade-offs explicit.

Evidence before confidence

Support decisions with measurements, tests, threat models, prototypes, or clearly stated assumptions.

Production is part of the design

Consider deployability, observability, failure modes, incident response, and maintenance from the beginning.

Technology follows the problem

Select tools for the system’s constraints and operating environment—not for fashion or résumé value.
